im looking to upgrade mine too when i get to the engine phase of my project. i was thinking petronix but the procomp has always looked interesting. i am wondering something though. a lot of people say 302W, is there a reason for the "W", i thought there was the boss and the normal and thats it. is it just a screw up instead of putting in 351W?

I think the w is just a screw up. As far as i know 289s and 302s with maybe the exception of the boss are all the same when it comes to distributors and such. I think Ill try out the pro-comp 7002 with external coil. Hopefully Ill have some time at christmas to work on it and get it fired up. Ill let you know how it works.
