Default Wheels

I just bought the GT bullitt wheels for my 67 vert. I need to get the adapters and I would like to know what size the bolt hub circle is. I can get the kit from pep boys for much cheaper then a mustang vendor. I just dont know the specs of them.

If you are asking for the bolt pattern size, it's 5 x 4.5

Remember....when fitting late model wheels to get the right backspacing you need bolt on wheel spacers. I wasn't aware that Pep-Boys was carrying 1 inch 1.25 inch or 1.5 inch bolt on wheel spacers....you can't just stack multiple 1/4 spacers or 1/2 spacers etc in and then bolt your wheel up this will be very very very dangerous. Not that you would but I just wanted to make that point anyway.

Good point as well dodgestang. I don't like spacers either. If I were going to buy Bullitts for my car, I'd suggest buying the ones for the '67 so you don't have to use spacers. That said, my front wheels have a .20" spacer on them. It was one of those things where BAER said that they'd work and Boyd Coddington said they'd work but when all was said and done, they wouldn't quite work. and I didn't want to send either back so I went with the spacer. No problems yet.

I'm pretty sure he's mistaken and that PepBoys is not selling the thick bolt-on spacers needed for these late-model wheels. They typically have the unsafe "shim" spacers.

What i was talking about was the actual adapter kit. I tried on the wheels today and they fit except in the front where they rub where the spindle bolts onto the A-arm or whatever the spindle connects to up there. I know the back spacing of these wheels are prob. 5.72. What size spacer do i need, and i can only put them on the front, or should i go all the way around? Thanks guys.

You should install the adaptors in the front and rear.

If the wheels are 17s....a 1 inch kit is just right

If they are 16s you need a 1.25 kit
