i got prices from a local shop to rechrome my front bumper for my 64 1/2, they estimated the cost to be between $175 and $225 ......... then i priced brand new bumpers from www.sacramento-mustang.com and www.mustangdepot.com and they were alot cheaper..... both were in the area of $110....... even with shipping from CA to PA,getting a new bumper from either of those places was cheaper.......... <edited><editID>Jay (imoRFT)</editID><editDate>37995.8593518519</editDate></edited>

hello ,if yours are original, I dont beleive you will get the same quality of bumper , that is why you pay so much more for your good quality one .

Default RE: rechroming

Rechroming is definately more expensive, but the repo bumpers are not the same. If you get a repo, make sure it's a Nordan as thiers are the closest in quality/fit that I've used. I'm probably going to have mine rechromed(but not right away)so I'll have the originals around should I ever decide to do a nut & bolt resto.
