Default Dash fix

I just picked up this 66 mustang coupe and the dash is well screwed. the old owner hacked it up. dont know why the rest of the car is in ok shape. i think the winshild had a seal leak for a while because he patched it all up and it looks like ****. i realy dont know what to do i have never see any sites that sell sheet metal replacement dashes for a 66 mustang and i really dont want to go out and get a doner car if i dont have to. does anyone know if theres anywhere out the that makes weld in replacements???

This is one of the most common problems in 65/66 Mustangs. Both weld-in metal patches and cheap plastic versions are available from all Mustang parts vendors.

I had the same problem with my dash all hacked up, I would have liked to see the stereo that was in it.
It had to be big cuse the hole sure was.
I got my replacement dash repair panel from NPD and it worked very well you just have to take your time welding it in and most important fitting it first.

From that pic I dont see anything wrong with the dash. The steering wheel is terrible though.

If you look just above the (yes its a retarded steering wheel) wheel you can see some large odd shaped what looks to be primer well it holes i tryed to patch there around 4 to 5 inches wide and like 2 inches long and looks like total **** and the welds are weak because i have like no room to fix it
