coil spring removal
Play it safe and get a spring compressor. There is a LOT of energy stored in the springs even with the suspension at full drop. If there is Auto Zone near you they loan or rent tools like that.
i used a scissor jack, sledge hammer and piece of chain link fence pole to remove mine. it wasnt the safest, but it worked. if you can get a compressor from auto zone or someplace for a free rental you should. cuz you will definately need one to get the new springs in.

I had trouble with mine, broke one compressor and when I used autozone's they would not compress enough to get off the spring seat.
This is a two man job, one to do the work and the other to call 911 if it does not go well.
