Default mach 1 questions

Hello everyone. I have found a 1970 mach 1 that has been sitting since 1992. It needs a total restoration and some rust work in the floor pans and in the toe board area. The engine in the car is a 351c with a 2 barrel carb on it. The car used to be a shaker that i can tell i found the trim ring for it in the cars interior but the rest is gone. The vin is 0t05m1366xx. I can tell the intake has been changed because there is an intake gasket in the trunk. The car doesnt have the hood twist pins it has dual exhaust the fold down rear seat and an automatic. I do have the buck tag and it reads as so.
325
5 28L 63C 3W
OT M1366XX 6 MEDBRBL
LP TT DE CL CG RM

I havent been able to find out too much information on the car. It has been sitting and I plan on fixing it up. The interior in the car is black with white in the seat middle. The car also has a different style of decals that i havent seen on any mach car. They are brown stripes that go all the way on the sides of the car like the boss cars. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Robert Turnbull.

you got me...your best safest bet to find out what youve got is to get contacted with Marti Auto Works. He specializes in giving out vin reports, with info on what options it came with, and if theres really anything specal about you particular vehicle. He even goes as far asto break down your vehicles production numbers. You can get a standard report or go to an deluxe report, which in your case may be your best bet. hope this helps buddy

i can help you with the buck tag a bit. as for the rest, ya, Marti Auto Works is the best.

325=325th car in the assembly line, not really important

5=???,built November 28th, Mach 1, bucket seats, 3W=White corinthian w/white clarion knit and corinth. vinyl with black

i believe the OT sould be part of the bin for 70 and T for Metuchan plus rest of Vin. 6 may mean Bright Blue Metallic, MEDBRBL may be for your stripe, Medium Brown/Blue

LP=Radio 8 track, TT=Two Tone Hood, DE=Dual Exhaust, CL=Convenience Lights, CG=Convenience Group, RM has been given different meanings which could be Remote Mirror, Racing Mirror, and Rocker Moldings

get the Marti report though and post some info and see how far off i am.

it looks like u have some work ahead for you. first of all if it is an "m" code, it should have come with a four barrel carburator but i think that the automatic is right . does it have the shaker hood?

Yes the car does have the shaker hood i believe. The shaker assembly is missing and no where to be found. There is a hole in the hood no hood pins and the trim ring is in the cars interior. I have opened the hood and looked under to see if it was drilled for the pins and no luck. The hood is the original color on the bottom. The hood does have the surround around the area where the shaker would go under the hood like it was done factory and not done with a skill saw. Thanks for the information. I know it is gonna be a lot of work but I want a musclecar so bad and they are going up in price so sky high that I might never get one. Thanks Robert Turnbull
