Can someone tell me if a shift linkage arms set for a 1970 Toploader will work for a 1964 1/2 Toploader? ( You know, the small pieces of steel that connect the shifter linkage rods to the tranny ).

Nevermind, I have more or less determined they will not by looking at pictures of both.
