oh, Then that should make it much easier. Now if you didn't have that, it'd be a real big pain.

oh that would be nice if it is. All i can find around here is auto 289's....like even if i had unlimited money i still havent been able to find a car with a manual that was for sale sometimes a 3 speed 6 cyl. will show up but thats so lame....can u even light em up with that setup? ...its frustrating but i guess getting an auto car and switching it over is the quickest (not easiest) option....

HAHAHAHA, yeah, there are alot of 6 cylinder 3 speeds. I talked to a guy who had one. He told me it ran like a V8, i had to laugh. Considering i had two V8 mustangs, and could have burned him a bew one.

So, now I have a clutch pedal. There was a round indentation where the clutch pedal pushrod goes through the firewall. I tapped on it with a hammer and it sounded different than the rest of the firewall, so I tapped it a few more times and it popped right out. It must have been pre-cut at the factory, but only popped out if they needed it (if they were building a manual tranny car) on the assembly line. Well, that was much better than crawling under there with a hole-saw.
i found that on some website....i guess there is a piece u can pop out if your putting in a clutch pedal to make it fit....sounds like theres zero fabrication. good news.

Hey Shifty, can u provide the link where you got that acticle? Could be helpful. I have about 80% of the parts I need for the conversion ( believe me when I say there are A LOT ). Can't decide wether to pay someone to do the conversion or do it myself. I'm thinking if I could find enough info on "how to" I will attempt myself.

I would make sure to touch up the edges around the hole to prevent rust while down there.
