I am thinking about changing out the stock 4 blade fan on my 66 289 for a fan clutch and shroud. Can anyone tell me what model fan clutch and shroud will fit on my 66?

JUST MESURE YOUR OLD FAN AND GO TO AUTOZONE THEY HAVE ALL KINDS

 

y not get a 1-9-6-6 model fan n shroud? idnt that what u want??

 

I just got both of those from CJs I can give you parts numbers tonite. You have to get the brackets to fit a three row rad. The original ones were to short

 

Are you going to get a straight, or curved edge fan? I know that people always say that the straight edged is more effecient, but louder. But I've never run accross anyone who has upgraded. Oh and Jaye and Elenor stop being trolling bast@rds, it's bad enough with you making your fcking waste of bandwidth topics, but when you start posting in topics where people are actually trying to get help with serious questions, you go to a whole 'nother level of pain in the ***.

Do you know what a "Caps Lock" key is?

 

The fan I used was a 5 blade 17' part number fan 2 , shroud fans1,brackets hw1308 the clutch I got at the local parts store

 

u have 2 have a big alt. for an elect. fan

 

that's right u got 2 get 1 of those real big alts to run something like that
