Default Need a little help

Hi, well I think Im going to order this carburetor for my 289:

Is that a good choice? What I need to know is which intake manifold for a run with that?
thanks

Your link shows a long list of carb onthe page. One of hte questions would be what is your engine size. If you are running a stock 289 a 500 CGm will be fine. If you plan to add a few high performance parts than probably a 600 will be max. If you are going with Edelbrock, the Performer 289 will do a great job for you. I took mine to the Power Coaters and had it painted clear. It really looks great on the Old Ford Blue Engine. If I could give you some advise, be sure to do lots of research on the carbs and plan ahead for anything you are going to do down the road. Otherwize you may have to make additonal purchases of the same item.

Good Luck

Gary
