Ah, you kids and all your fancy smancy stereos. I just plug my boom box into the cigarette lighter hole and turn on the tunes.

Ok I saw another option Id much rather look into doing. If anyone has seen the Feb issue of Mustang Monthly, the Mustang in Black project, the guy got a cd player hidden behind the sliding console door.... The previous owner threw a new FM radio in mine already...but just left it sitting there loose.. Now that I see this Id really like to mount it in like that. Dont know why I didnt think of it before.

DOH, i forgot about that. My dads 67 vert. has a console, and thats were we put his cd player, yet, ours was in there loose too. Do you have a console? I bought the kick panels without speakers, and then bought my own speakers.

I left the stock AM radio and dash speaker alone. The kickpanels I used just had an area for me to put my own speakers.

im not a fan of those kick panels they dont have very good imaging so you wont be able to get the most out of your speakers.
