I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A 1970 MACH 1. I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE 2ND OWNER AND IT IS IN GOOD SHAPE, EXCEPT FOR THE REAR PACKAGE TRAY. THE MAN'S SON CUT TWO HOLES IN IT FOR SPEAKERS AND BROKE IT IN HALF. IT WAS LAYING IN THE TRUNK(WHAT WAS LEFT OF IT) WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR. I HAVE ORDERED A REPO PACKAGE TRAY, BUT A FRIEND OF MINE SAYS A PIECE OF INSULATION GOES UNDERNEATH IT. IS THIS TRUE, AND IF SO WHERE CAN YOU GET THIS INSULATION.

 

Hi , I have a 1970 mach1 428 cobra jet, and ref to the package tray, I have just removed mine ,their was no insulation on it , but i do need the card board like material, that someone cut two speaker holes into ,and also the card board peice that separates the back of the seat from the trunk , do you know where I can purchase these items thanks Hank
