hey i want to loosen up my trunk spring but when i try to put the rods back in they don't want to stay any suggestions..... and witch notch did you stick it in starting from the back of the car 1-2-3

 

the rods go in the two holes closest to the front on my car.

 

The different notches are so you can adjust how much the trunk pops up (at least thats what my haynes repair manual says) Your just going to have to do some trial and error to see which notch is the right one. Also the two rods arent alike so you might have them backwards. Hope that helps.[8D]
