Default Random Tip for paint stripping

Well for those of you who plan on using paint stripper it woudlnt be a bad idea to have a solution of soapy water nearby so you can neutralize the acids when you get it on you. It is very random but good to know.

Fun aint it? I always thought it let me know I am alive...lol.. yeah right, that stuff lights ya up pretty good. I used a garden hose when I did mine. Most of my burns were from using a spray bottle to aply it rather than a brush.. use a brush kids, much less painfull.

i'll add another random tip--this works good for cars with MANY layers of paint (it's good to strip a part of your car with a DA to see) is to use stripper on a part (IE. fender) and let it sizzle for a bit then sand it down with a DA...The stripper should have broken up the paint pretty good to let it sand down fast.

The downside of doing this is that your sandpaper gets clogged really fast so you need to have an abudant supply of sand paper, and it gets really messy...but it's efficent IMO.
