i was about to say....thats the SOHC 427 FE, a real Ford guy wouldnt get the 2 confused, im glad you caught that mistake. i would take a SOHC over a BOSS 9 any day

Go to http://www.1969boss429.com scroll to the bottom of the page and click on " old pics " ,there are 3 under hood shots.Also,I found the article on the John Colleti Boss 9 conversion. Look up Hot Rod Magazine and enter a search for Boss 429,the article is on the list.Did you find out if your friend's is a Boss 429 or a wedge ??

429 is the same block as a 460, right? Then yes, they make motor mounts and headers to put that in a fox body mustang
