Default Trunk ideas?

Im cleaning up my trunk and need some ideas. I already completly redid my taillight setup and painted it flat black, I cleaned up the filler and painted it flat black as well. I have a new tank on the way. Any ideas? Maybe sand the whole thing down and repaint it. Do they make a black trunk spray just meant for this?

I don't know of any special paint for the trunk except the original body color. Just make sure there is no rust, and wire brush/sand it down to metal. Then spray with a primer then a color of your choice. I think semi-gloss black would look best if you can't find the body color. You might also consider using a Co-polymer rubber paint on top of that; especially in the wheel wells inside the trunk. Then, finish it off with a plaid mat and wheel cover.

Yea, I always thought of having an upholstry shop or something lay carpet in there. That mat stuff looks like grampa pants or my kitchen floor. Perhaps black carpet with a pony in the center.

ive seen it where its not even needed to be put in by an upholstery shop. its like a big piece of carpet cut in such a way it contours to the trunk and when you fold it in there it looks as if its all connected when really u can just pull it right out.
