Why would you want to drive around without a hood? That would just look dumb

 

If you don’t have a shroud on you radiator, they do wonders. Also, what kind of shape is the radiator in. I have a stock 24� rad with a shroud and can sit in stop and go traffic when its 95 out without a problem. This is with the AC on and a slightly warmed 289 under the hood. I also added a stock 67 clutch fan.

 

You actually list the fact that you've removed the dealer's badge from your car? Isn't that kinda like telling us you just filled up with gas?

 

HA HA HA HA HA H - It's just a joke........as in the car is still bone stock.


BTW - I also happen to agree that driving around without a hood is not really what I would call a "good" solution for overheating problems LOL. I was just saying that it will usually run a little cooler if the hood is off. Doesn't do much for the aero package though.

I actually used to run a 1980 Camaro without a hood all the time.........but that was only because I was a kid and couldn't afford the new hood to fit over the highrise intake. [8D]
