Default Stereo troubles

Originally my 68 coupe came with one front speaker. It was later rigged with 2 front speakers under the dash and 2 rear speakers (no kick plate speakers). When I took it all apart, it seems like the speakers are connected in pairs. One front and Back seems to be wired together. And of course one side work and one side doesn't. I tested the speakers and they all work. I can't make heads or tails on how this is connected and connected to the white adaptor that connects the radio to the car.

Any help that you can provide will be great.
Thanks

Crutchfield online may be of help...or a buddy who know his stuff. It's hands on work.

Not sure what kinda stereo you got this hooked up to but sounds like it's not wired right regardless.

Are you considering re-wiring it all together? That way you know exactly what you have. It's not that hard, just takes a little time.

Obviously, all the left side speakers should be hooked up to the left bank, and the right to the right. Yank all that crap out and start again.
