Default Tall Driver Question

Greetings to all

A little about myself. I am 6'6" and weigh about 290lbs. I used to own an 1991 Stang and had very little problem fitting in it (with the seat all the way back of course ). My question is: Do any of you who have 1964-1969 Mustangs think I would have problems fitting into one? I haven't found one that I am interested in around town to go look at yet and I am trying to get a feel as to whether or not I should even try. I should post some picutres of me trying to get into a Vette, now that is funny. I tried a '71 Stingray at a local place and the only way that I fit was becuase the top was down. Please let me know, and thanks for your help.

I kinda doubt you will, im 6'0-6'1 and i have 6 or 7 inches of head room in my 67. Of course i kinda slouch but i think you should still fit, the only hard part is going all the way down there to get in

Thanks Buzzstang -

That is good to know. I use to own a 91 GT and fit with very little trouble. There is a 66 Mustang near me with a 302 in it that is about 80% restored. I thought I might go look at it sometime.

Thanks,

hello,

you can also lower the place where the seat goes. this will give you more leg and head room. you cut out the part on the floor board and weld in a new "flatter" piece.
