I used to like coupse better, but the fastbacks are growing on me to the point I'm trying to sell my 68 coupe or trade it for a 67/68 FB. You can just make the FB look so much better with the right color scheme and body kits.

The Boss is backI have only ever had and still have my 1969 Boss 429,fastback of course !But,I think the coupes up to 68 are great looking cars. The 69 coupes are not as distinctive as the early cars, and the early model fastbacks don't have the same character as the 68 to70 models. That being said, all the Mustangs are great looking cars, its nice to have choices!

man i love your car! at first i didnt really like the fastbacks but then in an older thread i clicked the link and saw your pictures and thats when i really wanted a 69 fastback. its so small, smaller then later year mach 1s. but i couldnt afford a 429 big block boss, so im looking more for 302s and 351s.

ORIGINAL: 65GTin GA

Again, beatuy is in the eye of the beholder, but for my money, give me a fastback (I own one) also the fastbacks are much rarer, like 360,000 coupes built in '65, only 71,000 fastbacks. Fastbacks are rapidly climbing in value and may soon surpass converibles that once commanded top dollar. To me, the fastback is the best looking ans has the most sex appeal (the ladies love them).

Fastback is my choise. As 65GTin GA wrote beaty is in the eye of the beholder.

yea, im definently loving this 69 fastback, doesnt necesarrily have to be a mach 1, but a normal fastback. but if i could find a 66 - 68 fastback i wouldnt mind one of those either. which year would be the cheapest? i know the 66 would have more parts more easily accessible.
