fastback. looks cooler, more valuable. u barely ever see them out and about while you see classic mustang coupes out almost more than u see late model mustangs.

i like both though.

not ot say its better, but i prefer fastbacks. I think they look "cooler" i guess. I'd still buy a coupe if the right one presented itself I just prefer the fastback. A lot of our memebers actually have coupes or verts not fastbacks. I think we have more coupes than FBs. I know Soaring has his Ol Yeller. I can think of several other members with coupes but im sure they'll be on here. I tihnk its just a matter of what YOU want though.

I have a coupe, but If somebody knocked on my door offering to trade me a 65-67 fastback, for my 66 coupe, in the same condition as my car, i'd do it in a heat beat.

it depends on the year. but for 67/68 i prefer the look of my coupe over a fastback.

The 65-67 fastback's are the only ones I would own. Seeing they are a bit out of the price range I'm willing to pay, it's a coupe's all the way.

Again, beatuy is in the eye of the beholder, but for my money, give me a fastback (I own one) also the fastbacks are much rarer, like 360,000 coupes built in '65, only 71,000 fastbacks. Fastbacks are rapidly climbing in value and may soon surpass converibles that once commanded top dollar. To me, the fastback is the best looking ans has the most sex appeal (the ladies love them).
