Default Do they exist?

I'm trying to get my hands on a 'decent' 67/68 fastback for an fairly good price.. Now you might be asking yourself, 'What does he consider a good price?' 14k or so is a good price to me, I'm trying to find one that isn't a project for around that price but I'm having absolutly no luck what-so-ever. If anyone knows where I could get one or a restoration company I would be greatful. I'm just so tired of working on this coupe I want to sell it and get a fastback in it's place, it sucks with all the work I've done to this old girl already too... Any help would be good, thanks in advance.

my neighbor has a 67 gt 390 fastabck he has it insured for 16500 thru grundy i asked him about it one day he said thats what he had in it he would probably let it go for that amount!and on the other end of the scale there is a 67 c code fastback at a junkyard near my house for 200 bucks it is completely stripped and rusted but if u got a welder and some sheetmetal like mcdonalds says "hey it could happen" lol

the 67-68 fastback cars are gettin pretty rare now. To get one already fixed up you going to have to fork out the moeny for it. Mine was appraised at 20,000 and its just a 289 4speed. Nothing really special at all.

Rmodel65, let me know if he wants to get rid of it and send me some pictures, I'll most likely take it off his hands. =)

Take a look at NADAguides.com in their classic section - think you'd be surprised what fastbacks are getting to in value.

For instance - a '65 GT Fastback with 289/225hp: high end (primo condition) - $53,000

a '67GT Fastback with same options - high end - $38,000

But of course you can always find the occassional middle of the road car, driveable and not rotting away, but the prices are climbing!
