Smooth or rough?

I replaced the package tray on my 65 coupe a few years ago, and painted it the appropriate Palomino color. Well, I have the smooth side on the inside, and the rough side inside the trunk area. I got to looking at it today, and I think I have it backwards. Does anybody know which side goes on the inside of the car?

She would know! When I had one she let me know constantly. Had to get rid of her so I could build another car. Think the car will keep me warm at night?
