Default TCP Rack&Pinion

Ok so I've come to the conclusion that FR isn't the best, plus I want manual steering. So, TCP looks like my choice by far.
Does anyone know if the Column Kit is an exact match? or does the shaft need to be modified? I e-mailed TCP and they said, "Our rack comes with the kit to modify your stock steering column, we also have column kits." That didnt answer my question clear enough. So any help?

Yeah, you have to get the column kit with it to make it work. Here is a detailed description of how to set it up. http://totalcontrolproducts.com/down...03-COLM-01.pdf
