Default Door Locks

My door locks are acting funny, you can lock the door, close it, and then open it up from the outside. It unlocks it just by using the outside handle, the lock **** pops up and everything. This might be stupid but it's not supposed to do this is it?

no, When you lock the door and close it, it automatically unlocks. You must shut the door, and use the key. thats to keep you from locking you keys in the car.
