Default 66 convertible top

What kind of fluid do I need for the power top system? Also, where can I buy a good quality, new top with a glass rear window? Are there any certain brands that I should not consider? Thanks.

I used transmission fluid. I don't think you can get one for a 66 with a glass top but I could be wrong.

You will need to buy the rear glass and curtain separately from the cover.

I stand corrected . Have you personally used the glass version Soaring ? I'd be worried about scratching it when I put the top down. Was glass an option on the covertibles back then ?

Thanks for the link. It looks like that company has it all. The 66 I'm restoring has a hinged glass curtain that needs replaced, as well as the top, but I think this top may have been replaced before.
I don't know if they originally came with a glass curtain or not.

They probably didn't come with a rear glass and curtain, but to me that would be the best replacement. I have never had a vert I could see out the back because of the plastic discoloring so rapidly.
