Default Distributor and wires

I have a distributor for sale. It is one of the self contained HEI style ones that doesn't need the MSD box, etc.

It has never been run on a car and was installed on my new 302 long enough to figure out it wasn't going to work for me. Comes with brand new Accel wires that also won't work for my application. These distributors go for about $130 new and the wires for about $80.

I'd be willing to part with both distributor and wires for $75 (plus shipping where applicable) if anyone is interested.

Here's a couple of pics I just took.

I'm interested. I'll let you know later this week if I can get it.

I'm curious to why it won't work on your app also. I am going to put this on a 302 I am getting, but want to make sure it works first.

drew50, if you want it you can get it.

Sorry, haven't been online much this weekend but it sold on Friday afternoon.

For the record if you consider getting one like this it was too big around basically for the set up I have. I might could have gotten a smaller air cleaner and made it work but instead I just elected to sell it to someone that can use it then I am going to run my stock distributor with a Petronix / Flame thrower coil type set up.

I am running a 302 in a '66. Don't know if it was just the set up I had or what but I just decided to go another route.
