Default top fluid leak?

So i was under my car yesterday and i noticed above the drive shaft u-joint area looks wet with fluid. My rear does not leak. Could my top motor be leaking fluid? if so how can i check this/fill it? and with what fluid thanks guys.

To check the fluid level remove the filler plug located on the right side of the pump/motor assembly and check the fluid level. It should be level with the bottom of the filler plug hole. To fill it I always used transmission oil. But fill it with the top down. The leaking could easily be leaking. Imagine the following senario:

The top is up and you fill up the pump. Now you lower the top and the pressure increases and blows out the o-ring.

If you take down the trim at the back part of you truck(side closes to your back seat), you will have to lift the area where the top folds into, and you will see the top motor sitting about in the middle.
