already graduated to page two!!
sun's shinin'...i need to get some pics...

i just noticed some chips in the black piece where the cover slips under (hope you know what i'm talking about) and didn't notice them before...is this common?

Not that I know of,I still have my original moldings and have no chipping issues

Don't be so hard on yourself T, what we are talking about is the convertible rearwell molding which
run around the rear of the convertible top from one rear door jamb to another which attach to the body where the top meets the body.This is also where the top cover is fastened. It is only on fox
convertibles

well..i wasn't too clear on what i was talking about in the original message. thanks for clearing that up!
i didn't notice the chips when i bought the car, but they are definately there now. it almost looks like pitting..i was just curious if anyone else had the same situation. most of the rest of the car is original, so i can't complain too much or i will be driving myself crazy.

anywho..

Mine isnt chipped, but it is faded, I would like to take it off and repaint it, but I dont want to mess with the top.
