got no answers to this in the general area . . .how about you ragtop guys/gals?
Who makes heated seats? WHo has had bad/good experience installing? how much $$ ? think want to get one for my passenger seat . WHere is the switch installed? Id rather freeze than hve some knucklehead short circuit my car

Some stores sell "heated seatcovers" that install quickly enough, and plug into the cigarette lighter for power. I tried it,,, was too weak and also added about 1" of thickess so my head rubbed on conv top [&:]
I haven't seen them for sale before as a permanant deal, but I would think the switch could be placed about anywhere, but I would make it somewhere that your knee won't bump into it. Girl I worked with had a Mazda tribune(Or something like that) and everytime I reached for the seatbelt I would turn the damned thing on. Sucked when it cam on during the summer.
