93 conv rear power window help
I posted this in General Tech but it was sugested I ask here (didn't see the convertible section before, what can I say, I'm new here). In answer to that poster's questions. The window is somewherebetween what I would call binding and very hard sliding. The gears weren't stripped before but did start clicking last night after my latest changes to try to figure this out. Can anyone suggest where I can get a good exploded diagram of the window setup for comparison. If not I'm going to have to tear apart the driver's side for to compare against.
Original post:
"Need help with my passenger side rear power window. Won't go up and down easily. Replaced the guide bushing in the bottom of the window bracket and greased everything. Someone's been in here before me so there's been damage or someone screwed it up replacing a broken glass. (I found a piece of broken window inside the panels). Whoever did the work did some pretty cheesey stuff so I'm betting they didn't put something back rightt.
So here's my first question, in the bracket that rides up and down the guide post is there supposed to be a guide bushing in the top and bottom sides? When I went looking for the part everything I read said one per side. I'm wondering if the PO put the bushing in the top when it should have gone in the bottom. Any ideas? Thanks, "
