The top is in good condition, there are no visible leaks. The leaks come in at the bottom of the back glass window and the water pools behind the rear seat on the tarp like material. I used to drive the car eveyday and it was a bigger problem, now I have a truck for the rain and snow, so it is not as much of a problem, I would still love to take care of the problem.

I got one, i just never wanted to mess with it. But mine is not from the window but its from the driver side "wall" i guess.

ok i have heard sombody say this, if u cant fix the leak , you can do it anyway but make a hole in the well liner then take a small hose and get a groment to where u made the hole a seal in the run the hose through the groment and ( you might have to drill a whole) then run it to the out side of the car like a drain. im gonna do that wit mine. hope that helps man

That would probably work, but you might try a large turkish style towel or anything super absorbent and just roll it up and leave it back there but make certain to change it when it gets wet or it will start to stink.
If you only get a little water back there, IOW not a flood, that's what I would do assuming of course you can't fix the leak.

The problem with fixing rear window leaks is that the window to fabric seal has a TON of pressure on it when the top is closed and most sealers just rip open and you;ll be leaking again.
You might try some of the oil/water resistant silicone stuff that is used for oil pans etc.
I think they make it in black. That stuff is really sticky and might do the trick.
Use it sparingly though in case it doesn't work so you don't make a mess.

ok but if he does the drain thing he wouldnt have to keep on ringing the towel out everytime it gets wet or have to wory bout mildew smell. it would jus drain out. im not knockin your ideas tho man. your right bout the black stuff i would try that t

hell yes f the leak, I have the ghetto rig with the towel but I figure that will work until I replace the top, which will hopefully be this winter so it can stretch out and be ready for the summer.
