Default Leaking

Two Mustangs

Both leaking, but in differnt places:

2001 V6 Vert (my son's) has water puddling in the area behind the rear seat after it rains.
2002 V6 vert (mine) leaks around the windshield vertical members (both sides) at the side windows and drips on to the door or your leg.

Any idea on how to fix both?

on the 02 get a can pof silicon spray and spray all the weather striping on the top and along the pillers.
01 it can be the rear window or there may be a slit on the top along where the top meets the body. best way to find the leak is to sit in the back and have someone with a hose spraying water on teh back of the top.

On the 01, check the bottom of the rear glass window, where the fabric meets the glass. My recently purchased '98 has a water issue, and the fabric glue has pulled a little away from both bottom corners of the rear glass, and water is leaking in there.

I called a glass shop, and its going in tomorrow. Total cost? $50.00 Time? 3-4 hrs with drying.

For your '02, I'm not totally sure that will work, but if it does, please let me know as I get a little wet at the car wash at times.
