window rubs on 07 convertible top
I have a 07 Convertible. The glass drop function when opening the door does not drop the glass far enough down. The glass rubs on the rim of the convertible top and has worn out the vinyl by now. The problem seems to be temperature dependent. When temperatures are above 60 Degrees everything works fine. During the colder month this becomes an issue. I had it 4 times at the dealer so far (still under warranty). They do some adjustments. When I pick the car up it looks fine. A few weeks later the problem comes back.
I live in NC and I love this car. I can not believe Ford would build a car that is not made for our mild winters. Has anyone else a similar problem? What can I do?
Thanks
Wolfgang

Wolle...there is an adjustment procedure in the owners manual and it has been summarized on these forums. Recommend you do a search or refer to the manual. I have an 07 vert also and have used the procedure. It did make the problem better, but I still think the windows should lower more when the door handle is engaged.
