Default 95 vert replacement

The back window in my top came loose the other day and is currently being held in with duct tape. I was told there is no way to reseal the window back into the curtain and that I'd have to replace the whole entire curtain assembly. The owner of the shop wanted 450 bucks to do this. He said he could leave the top and just replace the curtain. But IMO, the top needs to be replaced, its not old, only 4 years old, but its been stained with silly string. I can get a replacement top and window for about 300 bucks from americanmusucle.com and do it myself. But what am I really getting myself into? Do I need any special tools? Will a regular staple gun be enought to do it? Is there anything I need to replace as well, such as these "pads" I keep hearing about? And can I get it done in one day with 2-3 people? Any help will be appreciated
