Default Convertible Top

I have a 1995 gt vert. I need to replace the top. I tried to find one already on the frame. All I found in good shape was 99-04. Can I use these tops or am I stuck with 94-98. Any input would be great!

'94 and '95 Stang convertibles are exactly the same.

Be careful. If you can't inspect it in person, you might be getting the same thing you already have - or one that will be bad soon. One person's "good shape" might be another ones "worn out."

I'm pretty sure they're all the same.

No they aren't. The Stang convertible changed body styles in '94. All convertible tops are the same on the '83 to '93.

All Stang convertible tops are the same also on the new body style '94 to '04.

Most convertibles that are coming into my ragtop shop that are '94 and '95 model are completely worn out (the vinyl that is).

Good luck.

^ That's what I meant, that the tops from 94-04 were the same. Of course the tops and frames from 83-93 won't interchange with 94-04, even Ray Charles could tell you that.
