I am going to install a Magnetic Reed Trunk Release switch on my 2006 GT Vert. I have seen the aftermarket kits and really, they don't do you any good when you lock your keys in the trunk.

I'm not really an electronics person so I need someone who is to give me some advice on what size/amperage/voltage or whatever, size switch the Reed portion has to be. I'm guessing under 5 Amps as I think, not sure, that that is what the fuse is for the trunk release.

If you have working knowledge of a Reed switch and it's applications, any help would be great! Thanks. I will post pictures once I am done.
