Exclamation Will 69 Top Frame Replace a 68 Frame?

I have a 68 convertible and both sides of the intermediate side rails of the top frame have cracked. Will the parts from a 69 frame fit my 68? Are the parts interchangeable? Are the entire frames interchangeable?

91,

I'm not sure if you will be able to get an answer to your question here.

I do know that the '68 top and '69 are different somehow, but the difference might not be structurally noticeable. The '69 top is longer on the frame mechanism overall.

When I need to order a top to install on a '69 stang, it will also fit a 1970, but a top for a '68 fits a 1967 and 1968 only.

For what it is worth.
