Default 87 GT "Custom Paint"

Hi, Im looking to do some simple custom paint work to my car (87 GT), as it is almost ready to go to the body shop. It is scarlet in colour, picture below. I just want to do something to distinguish it from the other cars out there. I'm going to be putting a Mach 1 hood on it and I have no idea how stripes would go with that, has a sunroof, same problem. I'm debating on whether to change the body kit back to its proper titanium colour, instead of it all being one colour like everybody seems to do. If i were to make the body kit titanium the stripes would be titanium of course, if not, I have no idea what colour to go with for stripes, as I've only ever seen 1 car of the same colour with them, and they were white and looked like crap. So does any body know of anything other than stripes that would look good on a GT hatchback mustang? Or what colour combination would go together well? Thanks

Oh yah, it has factory grey '03 Mustang Bullit wheels on it now aswell so that may affect colour combos aswell. And swapped the Porno red interior for grey. Before you make fun of that car, it doesn't look like that anymore aha

The best advice i could give you is to take a look at other cars similar to yours look at the many different colors and designs and you will see what the trends are then avoid them and come up with a look that you truly like. you can do alot of things like crome illusion pait that changes colors when the sun hits it. you can two or even three tome a car, add flames or graphics. the bottom line is its your own sense of style likes and budget that will truly give you a unique pain job. Thats what advice my brother in law gave me. he owns a auto body shop and specializes in restoeing vintage hotrods.
