Detailing Tires?
I have some stuff from Meguire's called endurance tire gel. you just spread it on then wipe off the extra, it lasts much longer than any spray on tire detailer i've used. just be sure to either let it dry or wipe it off real well or it'll spray all over your paint.
Theres also this stuff made my turtle wax, its called like tire tar or something its thick an it wont come off and leave debris on your car, ive been lookin for that stuff but can never seem to find it....
i worked in a tire shop and we used some cheap tire shine stuff, to get a nice shine and a long last, you need to layer it on. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute, wipe it off and repeat about 3 times.
I always urinate on my tires to........,no, no, that's my brother-in-laws tires!
I use Meguiars Hotshine with one of those applicator thingys (tech. term) to keep it off my wheels.
I may try the endurance gel next.

This may sound strange, Mop N' Glow, yes the floor wax, is great on tires. Not shiny, just black, and it lasts far longer than any tire stuff I've used.
I got the tip from a guy at Diamondback Classics when I bought redlines for my 65 GTO.
I told all my buddies who are car guys and most laughed, and then one guy tried it and another and another, now we all swear by it.
Give it a try on a car you don't care about, trust me you will be impressed.
Obviously, clean your tires first before applying.
