Default Interior paint

I have seen people painting the interior plastic pieces. I want the gray plastic around my radio and shifter to match the paint on the out side of my car and Im not really sure on how to do it right. If anyone could give me a little help?

I had mine professionall painted...because even though you can do it yourself, its still hard to get the clearcoat to look like the outside of your car. Mine looks good, Im gonna go back and have the other pieces painted also. Ill show you a pic when I get one.

if you are going to do it urself then you are going to want to sand it because my firensd brother jus did his nad beacuse your car has a special coating iver it the paint wont tkae a good hold and will feel mushy and turn ugly real quik so jus sand it a little with fine paper then spray the color aobut 4 coats and a clearcoat and you will be very pleased

im actualy thinking about doing the same thing and i also have a black 03 GT, but wouldnt we want to prime them after sanding them? you might want to think about painting the plastic on your doors around your window buttons to give it a more complete look. thats probly what im gonna do.

They sell kits with directions umm you might want to check J.C. Whitney catolog or there on line store, or i'm sure you can find some import stores on line that have what you need. Another option is check ebay small chance but sometimes they have stuff like that done for cheep.

ok you people need to go to a paint store. . like its all car paint store. . not some gay place like wal-mart. . . anyways so go there ask for the color of ur car and they will put it in a spary can and then ask for a non yellowing clear coat. . and there you go . . i did it to my car and i have had they same paint on for 3 years no chips or anything. . easy and cheap way to look nice!!!
