Converting a Conv. to a Coupe
I've heard that this can be done. Im not to crazy about my stang being a convetible. Acutally, this is one of the things i dislike about it.
When i talked to some of my buddies and local ford dealership guys, the said that they knew that Saleen had a coversion kit out and they though Rousch does as well. Do they?
Im just wanting to convert my Convertible into a hardtop instead of trading it in on one so..
Please help and let me know Thank YOu

I've got an 86 and I know what you mean, it would be nice to have a removable hard top for it. It's a fairly common thing with many older verts of different makes and it would be nice to be able to get one for mine. My dad has an old triumph and there's tons of places that make them for his, the one he got is fiberglass and it attatched with some clips and like four bolts, it's great. I'd def be interested in one if anyone can find them.
I don't know what crazyplaya is looking to do but I just think it would be nice to have an removable hardtop. They actually fit overtop the convertible top when it's down. It would just be nice to have if I needed to take a trip or drive my car in the winter cause it would hold heat and not be as loud on the highway. There really isn't any conversion, it's something you can take on and off fairly easily
It stays warm fine when you keep the heat on but the second you turn it off it goes right out the roof. But that's not really the point, it would just be nice to find a removable hardtop, if you've ever been in a vert with the softop and a hardtop you'd know why.
