need to remove glue around side windows
basically the previous owner had some sun visors on the side windows and then decided to rip them off... which left this nasty glue all around the sill. anyone have any good ideas on how to remove this properly?

I hate to say it, but with the condition that is in you might be better off scraping it off, sanding and repainting the window frame [&:] Looks like a lot of paint is already scraped away in some spots. But first I would dry some goo-gone and and blow dryer - and of course a lot of patience. The goo-gone and a good, small plastic scraper (like from Pampered Chef) might just work perfectly.
Sure make fun of the suggestion now, but Pampered Chef sells these baking stones that my wife swears by, and they come with a little 2" square, brown scaper for cleaning them off (not supposed to wash them). I'm thinking that would be the perfect little tool for the job.
Looks like you might want to replace your weather striping/molding while your at it.

oh ok.. that does sound like it might work. what is Pampered Chef though? i've never heard.
and yeah i thought about just sanding it down and repainting it since i do plan on getting the whole car repainted this summer anyways. maybe i should just do that. [&:]
