claying is a must in my mind....that is a decent kit and worth the measley 15 dollars for what it does. If money isnt the problem the pinnacle kit can't be beat! that's imo

the mothers kit is a pretty good basic kit that comes with everything you need. I wouldnt get it offline though because you can go to any autozone or something like that and pick one up for just as cheap. You will definatley need to give it a good wax after because it takes most of the wax off with the clay. It comes with a little bottle of wax in it but i have never used it so i dont know how well it works. For just an easy wax that makes your car look good, i would get meguiars NXT tech wax because it is easy to put on and easy to take off.

I did my first wax job and there is nothing to be afraid of. As long as you are using a towel and not an electric buffer there is no way in hell you can burn or swirl the paint. That looks like a good kit and I'll probably buy it! Nice find!

Unless you're dealing with any major paint defects, like spiderwebbing, the included bottle of Carnauba Cleaner Wax should do you just fine.

But if you're looking to buy a synthetic wax, I hear a lot of good reports about Mothers FX SynWax from former NXT users (though I've never used the NXT myself), and I like FX SynWax really well.
