what about the porter cable?? isnt that meant to take wax off? or is it just meant for the application process?

No it is meant to use as a polisher not a product removal. Use Microfibers. Also the Costco ones are ok but i w2ould suggest you spend some money and buy some high quality towles like the ones From Pakshak.com or auotgeek.com

Polishing is a process where you are using another chmical product to apply and polish the surface
Removing wax is just that removing wax. Your simply wiping the dried wax off the urface.

I suggest using 3M's cleaner wax and then immediately followed by their carnuba. It's a bit pricey but damn worth it. Use a standard applicator and microfiber rags to remove, stand back and admire!

Again, cheese cloth all the way. You will be amazed how quick and easy the wax comes off!
