Right now my 86 GT is laser red w/ silver stripes. I think Im gonna paint sonic blue(its gonna be a color on the 05s)with a little bit of zerellic pearl in it to lighten it up just a hair. Ill probably put silver stripes on it again. Just wanted to know what people think about it.

 

I need new paint on mine here soon too. Got some rust to take care of first. I think the blue would look good on an 86. Also what might be cool is to do ghost stripes maybe instead of the pearl?

 

Yeah that would be cool. Ill have to see what it looks like.

 

I love blue, I think it will look way nice, and I also like the suggestion for ghost stripes they look cool. When your car is done you have post pics man.

Fords Sonic Blue has got to be the sexiest color next to canary yellow (of course) lol

Your idea about adding the pearl to the paint will look beautiful..... I say go for it!!!!!

I saw the zerellic pearl used in flames on a Peach colored 40's Ford was killer

I sprayed a sample with the zerellic pearl mixed in and it looks bad ***. Cant wait to paint it. That pearl is expensive as hell though. Oh well, not sure bout what blue to use for the stripes yet. Sure Ill find somethin I like.
