Default scoops

Is there any type of kit out there that lets you make the hood and side scoops functional. Other than the Mach 1 conversion kit I can't find anything. I just cant get used to the fake scoops on my 99 GT. If there aren't any conversion kits is there anything you can do to make them look better.

There is nothing you can do to make them functional. You can get some inserts to make them look better though, do a google search, that should help.

The only thing I have found are stainless steel inserts and aluminum side scoop inserts. Are there any aluminum hood scoop inserts for the 99 GT.

The side scoops for any model 94 + are functional...... if you look under your wheel well in the rear you have vents that lets air circulate through the wheels for brake heat etc.... Wih the side scoops they help capture more air to throw through them vents.....

A little advice Ive had a several pair do not use the double sided tape they issue with them... unless you want to fork out another 80 bucks.... Use a fiberglass glue or try epoxy........ whenever you want them back off itll take the paint with them but hopefully youll want to leave them on.....

Oh yeah att: Californians!!!! If you see some yeller side scoops near San Bernadino there MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol (100mph winds blow them lil suckers right off) lmao
