If you want it to last more than a year, than you are looking at $1500 + (lots of + for a show car job!). Really depends, or course, on what body work and prep you will need. Also, color will change the cost.

Id say close to 2grand for a real good job and a warentte....

 

For a decent paint job it would be about 1500 to 2000 depending on YOUR prep. This price is after you have done the body work other than general smoothing and FINAL sanding for paint. I always use a sealer over old. Epoxy primer on bare metal. Earl will do it cheap but you may have color matching tires! Good luck. Bigger is not always better. I have a small shop and I do one at a time custom painting. No ads, no yellow pages, always busy. Use word of mouth not mouth only in selecting your painter!
