Orange peel is a result of the spray gun. Either too heavy spray without proper float or incorrect gun pressure, application, etc. It is not a problem. Get you some 2000 grit wet sand paper. Walmart has it...of course! Sand it dry first so you can see the high and low spots. If you do it dry you will be able to determine when you are finished and not sand too much. When wet, it all looks shiney and you may cuff it. After you see NO SHINEY areas, then LIGHTLY wet sand the entire area. This will level everything and keep any deep scratches to a minimum. It should look like frosted glass, smooth when you are done. After that buff with rubbing compound, then polish, and glaze. I do not use wax, I use 3M Hand Glaze. It leaves no swirl marks and is easy to remove. It is wotrth the 30 bucks a bottle. NAPA has it if they sell paint at your location. It will look like a mirror when you are done. I am a custom painter specializing in flames and graphics. I paint bad a$$ Harleys and they all shine with this process...nearly forever! Good luck and get 'er shining!
