Default Adding Stripes

I have a white 2005 Mustang. I'm thinking about adding double blue stripes down the middle so it looks like my attachment. I like how the stripes don't stop at the hood, but go all the way down the front of the car.

I'm wondering where would I could go to get stripes like that, and approximately how much it would cost.

Thanks.

Since no one else answered your question, I will..

The only place I know of is HERE

Check out xRockThePonyx's car ... She got her stripes from there.

Can you not get stripes like that done at a Ford dealer?

I had mine done at a local body shop around where I live. The man that put them on said it was a pain in the tail to do them on my car b/c of the way that the backend is on it. It only costed me like 400 bucks. It was his first time too and I nearly went into withdrawls b/c I had to go without my car for 2 whole days (what I did before the car I don't know). He said that he actually lost money in that one when he added up how much time it took him on it.

You can get them on EBAY.. Make sure that they are 5 year vinyl.
5 years means the fade effect on the color especially with black or mettallic stripes.
Depending on the width....betwee $50-100. Plus labor.

Does anyone know if Ford dealerships have the stripe kit where the stripes go all the way down the front and back of the car, and don't just stop on the hood and the trunk?

Basically, I'd like to get the exact same as the two pictures I attached to the original message, including the side panel. I had heard that the dealer stripes don't go all the way down the front and back of the car, though.

If anyone can clear this up, I'd appreciate it.

If you get an Accessories Brochure from the Ford dealer it shows the stripes only going on the hood. Try to find a Vinyl Shop in your area. They can custom cut anything you want off their HUGE printers. There is one in my area that does all the vinyl wraps for those cars that you see with advertisements on them. I think they also do the public bus ads too...i think that would be your best bet unless you ordered a set pre-cut from the site listed above. Having one custom printed will allow you to choose ANY color you like and you can also have them print a little extra so you can tuck the excess into the panel gaps (on hood, bumper, etc.) and door jambs (on the sidestripes). You can also have them print any lettering you want on the side ones. It may be more expensive than the sites above but if you find one that has been there a while I bet it would be worth it. And if money isn't an issue then why not PAINT them on. A lot more expensive but smoother, won't peel, won't fade. I believe the FR500C cars have their stripes painted on but don't quote me on that.
